MVA Massage with Fauna

Massage Tailored To You

No two bodies are the same and no two sessions should be either. This is your time, and we’ll start with a quick check-in to see what’s going on in your body, what you’re needing, and how I can best support you that day. I draw from different styles like Tuina, craniosacral, and myofascial to create a massage that feels responsive, thoughtful, and truly personal. Whether you're working through pain or simply needing to slow down and breathe, we’ll meet your body right where it’s at.

Questions

  • What to Expect

The front door is locked. Send me a text and I will meet you at the door 5 minutes before your session. When you come in, we’ll start with a quick check-in to see how you’re doing, what your body’s been holding, and what you’re needing that day. Your session is shaped around you. Whether you’re looking for focused work, nervous system support, or simply space to rest.

You’ll undress to your comfort level and get settled under the sheets. I’ll walk you through what to expect, and you’ll stay comfortably draped the whole time. The space is cozy, quiet, and set up for you to unwind—organic oils, calming music, and any enhancements you'd like are all included.

I’ll check in about pressure and comfort, but you’re always encouraged to speak up. This is your time. You don’t have to talk or entertain me.. just breathe, rest, and be in your body.

After the massage, we’ll take a moment to check in and talk about what you noticed, what helped, and anything we might shift next time.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. 5 minutes before the session is appropriate.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. I will do my best to provide you with the services you have booked, but I cannot guarantee the full time if you arrive late. Anything later than 15 minutes is seen as a no-show and will be charged up to the full payment.

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can log into your account and make changes anytime. For late notice cancellations, please text me directly at 503-269-7492 as soon as possible.

Cancellations without 48 hour notice may result in a charge for your session, as that time has been set aside specifically for you. Review the Session Guidelines for more information.

  • I accept cash, venmo, zelle, and gift cards and certificates.

I do not accept insurance at this time. I can provide SOAP notes/charting and receipts for reimbursement if you let me know ahead of time.

  • Gratuity is built into the price of each session, and rates are adjusted over time to reflect the value of the work. Tipping is always optional. If you feel called to offer one, it’s received with gratitude, but there is absolutely no pressure. You’re never expected to tip, and your presence and trust are more than enough.

Nice to meet you, I’m Fauna!

I feel so fortunate to call myself a Massage Therapist. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of hours getting to work with clients to help them feel more at home in their bodies. It’s an embodiment practice for me and many of my clients. We get into a flow state where the body-heart-mind connection can be more present, allowing the nervous system to reset, and for pain levels to decrease. Many who work with me feel more at peace within themselves after their sessions and it seems to overflow into their relationships at home and work. I see massage as a necessity for a overwhelming touch starved world. Studies reflect the multitude of benefits for mental health, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, and stress. I firmly believe that therapeutic caring touch will support you, wherever you are in your life.

I have 1000+ hours of hands on training that informs my intuitive approach. I intentionally learn Eastern and Western modalities to blend into a holistic toolkit that works for just about everyone. Some of these modalities I’m trained in are CranioSacral, Tuina, Trigger Point, Abdominal massage, Facial massage, Breast massage, Traeger, Breema, Meditation, and Yoga.
